Autumn In A Rainy Day
(My study of colors and compositions)
November 6th, 2020
I have been eyeing on this cul-de-sac to take photographs for sometimes now.
Today seems to be a perfect day for exploring.
I just ignore the light rain on my head.
I try a square composition.
SW Copper Court
I walked back a few steps to see the vantage point
as I was driving down the street earlier.
I turned around and see this
Then I try to include the houses on the right and the red tree on the right.
The orange "carpet" is adding the drama to this image.
I went back to compose this shot with one tree on the left.
I am beginning to like this overall shot right from the middle of the street.
I moved to the right and compose this.
I moved back a little bit to get this image.
I moved closer but the branch is on the car.
I moved a bit closer to eliminate distracting branch but still maintain the
composition.
Close up of the red tree, a composition with the branches.
It seems I am in the Democratic neighborhood, judging form the sign.
Now I am back to the street to take one more shot.
I turned around and see if I can make a composition with the stop sign.
I moved closer to the get the trunk of the tree on my right.
Now, I move really close to the stop sign.
Back at home:
It's going to be a job to clean it up.
Wet leaves and a blower just does not work together.
Welcome to the neighborhood.
Almost time to clean up!
What a mess, but I enjoy the pretty colors.
