Columbia River Mouth
May 5th and 6th, 2021

An afternoon walk along the river.

The remnants of wooden bridge/road to the cannery.

To this day it is not uncommon for ships to wait a week or longer for the bar
to calm enough to allow a safe crossing.
More than 200 shipwrecks are known to have occurred to this date.

Old cannery was once stood in this place.

Our favorite place to spend the night.
The riverwalk is right on the front door.

May 6th in the morning.
This is the last stop for the Astoria Trolley when it's running again after the pandemic.

My rusty retirement bench

This is one of my favorite shot of the morning walk.

Astoria - Megler Bridge is visible in the background.
(Another rusty retirement bench)

A dream home, purple flowers, and trolley line - a perfect combination for me.

One of the remaining cannery building that is still exist.
