Orenco Woods Nature Park
October 16th, 2021
This is the first thing I saw when entering this secluded park.
The playground
"Apple" Art
Red, Green, Blue and Yellow
I was looking for "branches" structure art, unfortunately it has been
dismantle, since it's falling apart.
This is the second thing I wanted to see - The Bridge
The view from the bridge.
We met the couple who we met before at Rood Bridge Park,
what a small world.
NE Owens Street, this is another trailhead
Mostly the trail is paved.
Begins the unpaved, but easy to walk and dry with wood chips.
My simple retirement bench.
Finally, I have a chance to sit for awhile.
Another curve bridge.
El Dia de los Muertos (Day of the Dead), observed in Mexico
November 1st and ends on November 2nd
After snacking we walked again, lower trail (unpaved but easy)
The Bridge from the lower trail
Pokie is at awe with the tree
Picnic at its best (I think a reservation is required)
Malcolm McDonald House
Northeast Birch Street - Orenco Townsite
