Mount Washington Cog Railway
September 11th, 2013
The steam engine only runs once a day at 8:15 A.M.
I missed it by a few minutes, but that's Ok, it gives me an opportunity to take
this picture.
It's really impressive to see this!
If this picture were taken a few weeks later, you will see more of the fall
colors.
This is the 9:30 A.M. ride for us.
The sky is getting darker and darker over the horizon.
That's the cog or the third rail that makes this train go up and down.
The green train was being readied for the "B" Platform.
We had the opportunity to sit in the front.
Minor repair is needed that morning.
Ready to go! All aboard!
This is midway, so the trains can go up and some will go down.
Almost there...
"The Worst Weather In The World" Scroll down!
That's all we can see! The weather turned ugly and the wind is horrendous.
