Welcome to our village of 1830s, we will give you a tour.

This is a typical village in that period.
A typical home, the fireplace is in the middle of the picture,
the oven is on the right side of the grandmother. They only bake just once a
week.
This young woman is boiling "dye" for the wool yarn.
The "dye" is usually some kind of roots. The intensity of the colors
depends of how long it is boiled.
This is the Towne House.
We learned the meaning of "sleep tight".
You need to tighten the rope that hold your bedding,
otherwise it will sag, and you may not sleep well.
She is a doll!
Stagecoach is a common transportation.

we learned that screen is a modern day convenience,
you should see the 1000s of flies in the kitchen.
A typical lunch, full of starch and fats,
they need the calories to tend the garden and their grueling daily chores.
