On its completion, the church was the largest in North America.
It remained the largest in North America for 50 years.
We came at 8:00 A.M. when it was just open, giving access to no visitors (well
almost)
We lit a candle and say a prayer of thanks.
A few people start arriving!
By 9:30 A.M., this place is like Disneyland, so come early!
A small chapel in the back, still magnificent!
Casavant Freres pipe organ, dated 1891.
4 keyboards, 92 stops using electropneumatic action,
7,000 individual pipes and a pedal board.
Escalier vers le ciel
I put the camera on the floor to eliminate the shake.
Celine Dion was married here in December 17th, 1994.
Sometime, somehow, you have to EXIT.
You just have to choose the right "door".
