CN Tower or in French - Tour CN
The tallest structure for 31 years from 1976 to 2007, Burj Khalifa took over the title when it was open in 2007
The total height is 1,815.4 feet or 553.3 meters

It was officially open on October 1st, 1976
It took about 3 years to build, construction began in Feb. 6, 1973
CN stands for Canadian National, a railroad company

I was able to do "train watching", I have never seen so many trains is a single place.
On the left is UP (Union - Pearson International Airport), with a one way ticket at a ridiculously price of $27.50
On the right is a commuter train - GO Train
VIA (Canada National Train) is using the same line.

This is CN Tower Toulist Tlap, located on the ground floor

The view from the Indoor Observation deck at 346 meters or 1,135 feet
The ticket to go up is $35.00 Canadian, but the tax is killing you!
Thank goodness for stronger US dollars
The exchange rate is 1US dollar = 1.34 Canadian dollars

Rogers Centre - the home of Blue Jays baseball team

That's Mississauga in the distance, looking west

The GO Trains that came in the morning are now on the sidings, ready to take
the afternoon commuters.
I also spotted the first street car - 510 Spadina.

Pokie braves the glass floor, opens in 1994
This floor is at 342 meters or 1,122 feet
The highest observation is Skypod at 447 meters or 1,467 feet,
but we did not go there and another separate ticket is required.

The view from the glass floor
Look ma, I spotted some trains...

I believe this is looking north

Looking east, notice the Union Station is huge!

We had lunch while enjoying the scenery.
This is Fully Loaded Hamburger, Pokie barely finished it.
Yongkie had a vegetarian burger with sweet potato fries. Yum...

Ripley's Aquarium Canada

This is the extreme Edgewalk at 356 meters or 1,168 feet
Opens in August 1st, 2011
Notice the RED "jumpsuits"

I just have to say "Hello" to these trains
