St, Lawrence Market
September 16th, 2015
St. George Station is our hub, from here we transfer
Yellow
line to Union Station (southbound).
A short walk east from this huge station, we find St. Lawrence Market.
Later, I found out that we can go to King Station, then take Streetcar 504 to
the east, stops at Jarvis.
A shorter walk to save our aching feet.
The street is missing "ki" to make it
Yong"ki"e Street.
We are in Lawrence District already!
The flatiron building (we missed it the first time around)
Looking East from Front Street
From Northeast corner
A few vendors in front of the market.
The front entrance - Front Street
We got here early enough to take unobstructed views on the interior vendors.
This is meat lover paradise, they are expensive but good quality.
We found
Greek Bagel or Spanakopita for breakfast, yummy....
It is also Cheese Lover Paradise
Olives anyone?
More stores downstairs...
This is "Home of the World Famous Peameal bacon on a bun"
Only a handful of produce market, but they are fresh.
One Toulist Tlap store, anything about Toronto and Canada you can find it here!
We ate our souvenirs.
One for the "VEGAN", Pokie bought spicy tofu here...delicious!
The kitchen is in Mississauga.
But don't ask the shopkeeper..."No English"
More breads?
The market from southeast corner, from this spot we try to go to Distillery
District.
