The original wooden St. Nicholas Catholic Church was built in 1914.
It is no longer used for regular mass.
In 1958 a new church was constructed.
It is an important landmark, an Endangered Places in USA.
Croatian Catholic fishing community built this wooden church through donations only.

This is a COLLECTION BOX specially for the kids.
This "church" box is placed in front of the altar during the collection.
Kids are walking and running to this box with their hard earned money and deposited into the box.
